Keith Soles is a lifelong McKeesporter who is in his second term on McKeesport Council. He lives in the city's Myer Park plan with his wife Sharon.

He is an eight-year board member of the McKeesport Housing Corp., a nonprofit corporation that provides funds for housing upkeep and development. He also serves on McKeesport Vacant Property Review Committee.

Soles serves on the McKeesport Recreation Board, including the position of Chairman from 2014-2016. He has participated in many seasonal programs, including the city's annual Easter egg hunt, Rib Fest, Halloween parade, Salute to Santa parade, and Festival of Trees, along with youth basketball programs and Movies in the Park.

Soles has volunteered as an International Village committee member for the past five years, serving as honorary chairman in 2016. He is a member of the McKeesport Lions Club.
