1. How do I obtain a building permit?

Building permits are required for the construction, alteration, replacement, and repair of all structures. Building permits can be obtained in person from the Community Development Department.

2. How do I purchase vacant property?

The Vacant Property Review Committee evaluates, acquires and sells vacant land to adjacent property owners and other interested parties through the Redevelopment Authority of the City of McKeesport. Inquiries can be made with Melissa Ernst, 412-675-5020, ext. 635.
