McKeesport recognizes Fair Housing Month

Fair Housing Workshop Audience

In celebration of Fair Housing Month, the City of McKeesport hosted its second annual Fair Housing Workshop on April 26 at the Palisades.

This year’s event welcomed representatives of the Fair Housing Law Center to define the Fair Housing Act, describe who it protects, and share guidelines on how landlords can successfully abide by the law.

State funds to aid in intersection improvements

The City of McKeesport is proud to be using a state transportation grant for infrastructure improvements. A $316,100 grant from the Multimodal Transportation Fund will be used to improve the intersection of Long Run Road and Walnut Street.
